FIVE Months Old!

I can't believe it has been FIVE months since Crockett made his big arrival! It seems like only yesterday I had this itty-bitty baby! He has now turned into a BIG 17 lbs 10 oz, 26.5 in. baby boy! He is just becoming the cutest, fattest, most talkative little boy and I could not love this stage more! We started rice cereal and are having mixed reactions each night! He loves sitting in his bumbo and making a huge mess... slapping the spoon out of my hand, blowing bubbles, spitting cereal out... LOTS of fun! (But is so funny :) But his favorite thing is still nursing and falling asleep :) I think there is just something about his momma's warm body. He also does NOT want to sleep in his bed. We battle every night trying to get him to sleep in his crib... Sometimes he wins and sometimes we do. It kills me to hear him cry and scream. But what a horrible habit to start! He loves to roll over, but gets really MAD when he can't go anywhere! I need to hurry and get the house babyproofed, because it won't be too long before he is mobile! He has recently started FAKE coughing and loves it when I do it back. Chris has a car seat in his pick-up now, so Crockett can ride with Dad. He loves it! They will have so much fun riding around together! Crockett may never want to stay home with Mom! There are just so many things I love about him, and I find something new everyday! I can't believe next month he will be 6 months... So bittersweet. He is becoming less of a baby and more of a little boy with each passing month. I love you, Crockett!

Also, anyday now, Richard Wade Stone will make his arrival! Sara and Chad are anxiously awaiting the big day and we are so excited for them! I know Sara is really ready for him to get here... and I remember that feeling! Crockett is ready to teach Cousin Rich all his little tricks! They will have so much fun growing up together!

Those pictures just make me smile. He is the most precious thing ever. Can't wait to see him this weekend and not be sick so I can actually play and snuggle with my favorite nephew!

Crockett looks so cute! In some pictures he's a spitting image of Chris but yet in others he looks JUST like you! So sweet!

Happy 5 MONTHS Crockett! Blake can't wait until you can play. He keeps asking me when you can come over. Ha I hope you are having fun with the horse. You look like you have it all figured out. O and tell your momma to get ready for some tennis next week!
