Easter!

For Easter this year, we went to Church in Holliday and then to Grandmaw's house to eat with all the family and hunt Easter eggs! It is pretty much tradition around here to go to Grandmaw's house for any, and all, holidays. Grandmaw was there, of course, MiMi was there, and Uncle Casey, Aunt Amie and Kayleigh, Emily, Nathalie, Kyle, Marla, Dylan, Kylee, Shirley and Ken... It was a full house. We always have so much food and this Easter was no exception! Crockett was a lot of fun this year. He found a few eggs and rode around with MiMi. Can't believe it was only a year ago when he was such a tiny baby in his sweet 1st Easter outfit. He got lots of goodies from mom and dad, LuLu and Papaw, and Poppa and JJ and Grandmaw... the kid made out like a bandit. His cousins got most of the eggs this year, but next year, I bet he gives them a run for their money :) It was a wonderful day and reminded us how thankful we are for the blessings God bestows upon us daily.

Happy Birthday Rachy!

For Rachy's 23rd birthday, Crockett and I planned to go to the Big D for a quick visit... a special birthday dinner, some apartment shopping, cake.... the works! What Rach didn't know was that Mom, Monica and Braidy were coming with us!! It was such a GREAT surprise! She couldn't believe it! We had so much fun. Crockett and Braidy destroyed our room... or at least the bathroom, we ate at La Duni (SO yummy!), shopped a little (not fun with babies), lunch at Breadwinners, and I cannot forget the 4 pieces of CAKE we celebrated with! SO good. I must have gained 10 lbs. But for Rachy, I would do anything! We had a really good time and can't wait to do it again... without the babies :) Hope you had a great birthday!

Three years and counting!

Two days after Crockett's birthday, Chris and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary. We were still recovering from the BIG party, but we definately wanted to go out, just the two of us, since we didn't get to do that last year! We decided to hire a babysitter (our 1st!) and go eat at Pelican's. The babysitter we hired was GREAT!!! And we were able to enjoy our meal and talk to each other, which was WONDERFUL :) Our anniversary has gotten pushed to the backburner since Crockett came along, which is fine by us, but it is definately a special day for us to celebrate. I love you so much, Chris. I love the life we have built for ourselves and I know God has great things in store for us. Happy 3rd Anniversary!

PARTY PICS!
